Heritage Dressage Association holds four schooling shows throughout the season judged by qualified individuals. From riders and horses participating in their first Introductory level test, to pairs debuting an FEI level pas de deux, we strive to create a welcoming and enjoyable show for competitors, volunteers, and spectators.

Our competitions are held at Briggs Stable in Hanover MA. Tests are run on grass, Dressage Seat Equitation classes are in a sand arena, and there are both grass and sand warm-up areas. Classes may be Junior, Senior, or combined Junior/Senior.

Food and beverages are available on the grounds and are provided by North River Pony Club.

We do follow guidelines of USEF and USDF for our competitions, but feel free to contact one of our officials if you have any questions. HDA Shows are also PAC approved.

Things to Remember:

Membership forms/fees should be sent to the Membership coordinator prior to closing date.

All entry materials must be in the Schedule Secretary's hand BY closing date! Please include a completed and signed entry form, a check for your total entry fees, and a current negative Coggins.

MA horses must have a Coggins dated within 12 months of show date, out of state horses must have a Coggins dated within 6 months of show date. Once you submit a Coggins, you will NOT need to resubmit a Coggins unless it expires during the season.

A Junior is under 18 as of January 1st of 2011. If a rider turns 18 during the 2011 year, they will still compete as a Junior.

YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF HDA BY CLOSING DATE FOR THE DISCOUNTED MEMBER ENTRY FEE, AND FOR SCORES TO COUNT TOWARDS YEAR END AWARDS. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR HDA MEMBER NUMBER ON YOUR ENTRY FORM. IT IS THE COMPETITOR’S RESPONSIBILITY TO BE SURE THAT THEIR MEMBERSHIP IS CURRENT
